Supporting our library. Enlightening our community.
In 2003, the Bentonville Library Foundation formed when the Bentonville community sought to fund and build a new library facility. Through the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations, the Foundation successfully raised $7 million. A public/private partnership, the Foundation received the city's $2 million contribution, enabling the Bentonville Library Foundation to reach its $9 million goal. On October 30, 2006, our lovely library opened at 405 S. Main Street.
The Foundation's gift to our community is immeasurable, as the new Library is visited hundreds of thousands of times annually. The Foundation is further committed to continuing to support the Library's growth and development in future years.
Special thanks to U.S. Preventive Medicine, Inc. for their event sponsorship, "Booked For The Evening".
