We invite you to be part of our story!
The history of the Bentonville Public Library is closely tied to one of the city’s most distinctive historic structures. After a fire on March 4, 1975, destroyed the interior of the Massey Hotel Building, the Walton Family purchased the property to preserve its unique architectural character. Following an extensive renovation, the building became home to the Bentonville Public Library from 1979 until 2006, when the library relocated to its current facility at 405 South Main Street, continuing its legacy of service in a modern space.
